Privacy Notice
This notice explains how 2Mix Consulting Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through this website. It is our Personal Information Collection Statement and Privacy Policy Statement under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
What the contact form collects
- Name, email address and message: required. Without them we cannot reply to you.
- Company: optional.
- Anything else you choose to write in your message. Please include only what is needed for your enquiry.
When you press Send, the form service Formspree also receives technical details such as your IP address and your browser and device type.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to read and reply to your enquiry and, if it leads to working together, to manage that discussion. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them or pass them to anyone else for marketing. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
Who handles your details
- Formspree (United States): receives your form submission, checks it for spam and emails it to us. It processes data in the United States and other countries, and its own privacy notice also applies to its handling.
- Our email provider: holds the email we receive.
- Our registered-office mail service: if you write to us by post at the address below, its staff open and scan your letter and forward it to us by email.
- GoDaddy (web hosting): hosts this website, and its platform runs the performance monitoring described under “Cookies and monitoring” below.
- Sucuri (website security): all visits to this site pass through its firewall, which sees IP addresses and technical data in order to block attacks.
- Google Fonts: when a page loads, your browser fetches the site’s fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
We do not disclose your details to anyone else unless you agree or we are required to by law, a court or a regulator. Some of the services above are located outside Hong Kong.
Cookies and monitoring
We do not add cookies or analytics tools to this site. It stores your language choice in your own browser only, and that choice is never sent to us. However, our web host, GoDaddy, automatically adds a performance-monitoring script to our pages. It measures how quickly pages load and sends those measurements, with technical details such as your browser type, to GoDaddy. Our security provider may set a technical cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not an automated program, and Formspree may use cookies when you submit the form (see its notice above).
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, including the copy held by Formspree. If we start working together, we keep it for as long as needed for that work and for our legal and business records.
Security
Your submission is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries sent through the form is limited to Graham Rowlands. Letters sent by post are also seen by the mail service described above. We take reasonable steps to protect your details, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected. We will respond within 40 days of receiving your request. To make a request, contact:
